Kia offers the 2017 K900 in three trims: V6 Premium, V6 Luxury, and V8 Luxury. The V6 Premium may be the least expensive trim, but it comes with a host of features that include a 14-speaker sound system, voice-command navigation complete with SiriusXM Traffic, and a Smart Shift and Drive system that automatically sets the drive mode based on your current driving style. The V6 Luxury adds even more, like Nappa leather seats, a steering wheel trimmed with leather and genuine wood, and a Lexicon sound system with 17 speakers. The V8 Luxury adds a more powerful engine and also comes standard with an active front grille, LED headlights, and a Surround View Monitor.

Engine (Power)

The 2017 Kia K900 comes standard with a 3.8-liter V6 engine, one which gets a potent 311 horsepower and 293 pound-feet of torque. The top trim replaces this with a 5.0-liter V8 engine, and with one of those under the hood, the K900 can manage 420 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque. Both engines also come with an advanced eight-speed automatic transmission, but the two Luxury models come with an advanced shift-by-wire transmission that makes the gear shifter completely electronic.

Performance

The 2017 K900 isn't a sport luxury car, but it does offer the smooth ride and engine power you expect from a high-class vehicle. Kia has put foam padding all around the cabin, insulating it from both outside temperatures and outside noises, and the fully independent suspension reduces road sounds even further. The K900 is also good at stopping, thanks to its set of four large anti-lock disc brakes.

Interior

The 2017 Kia K900 has plenty to offer in its interior, such as a spacious trunk with a power lid, back seats with a remarkable amount of room, and a standard panoramic sunroof that lets both rows enjoy a sunny day. Other conveniences include heated seats in both rows, ventilated front seats, and available features like a 16-way adjustable driver's seat, ventilated rear seats, a head-up display, and Advanced Smart Cruise Control.

Safety Features

The 2017 K900 comes with all the safety features you'd expect from a luxury car, such as six air bags, active headrests, a blind spot detection system, and a rear cross-traffic alert. By picking the right model and packages, the K900 can also come with advanced driver assistance systems like the Lane Departure Warning System and Autonomous Emergency Braking. This braking system uses the same sensors and systems as Kia's Advanced Smart Cruise Control to detect when the vehicle is about to hit something and starts braking automatically to reduce the impact or avoid a collision entirely.
